The Nordic countries newest and largest robotics fair will be an event like no other. Many forces are at play behind the scenes – meet the partners and industry gamechangers behind this new event within robotics, automation, and drones.

Maybe you are just looking for some inspiration – or to meet others from the Nordic robotics industry? Regardless, R-22 is the robotics fair that you must attend.
R-22 is an event for the industry – made by the industry. Therefore, you will experience all the important and necessary aspects of the robotics industry gathered in one place: Odense, the robotics capital of Denmark.
Behind this event is a comprehensive list of partners, each representing impressive knowledge and experience in their field. With a strong focus on present and future technology, these partners are a crucial part of an information hub – and together they set the foundation for a successful Nordic robotics event.

City of Odense
The City of Odense is the main sponsor of R-22.
At R-22 you can experience “The Children in the City of Robots” – a project launched by The City of Odense, which focuses on teaching robot technology to children, preparing them to face a future full of technology and opportunities. Experience “The Children in the City of Robots” on March 25 during Student Day.
Esben Hallundbæk Østergaard
Esben Østergaard is the R-22 ambassador.
Esben Østergaard is known as one of the co-founders of Universal Robots and as the CEO and co-founder of REInvest Robotics.

Invest in Odense and Odense Seed & Venture
Invest in Odense is a team of business developers, dedicated to creating extraordinary value for companies and property investors by bringing relevant business partners into play.
Odense Seed & Venture connects capital-seeking local high growth tech-companies with investors.
Invest in Odense and Odense Seed & Venture are hosting Odense Investor Summit on March 24. Visit their stand at the fair and meet two partners with extensive knowledge in the startup and investor scene.
Odense Robotics
Odense Robotics is Denmark’s national robot and drone cluster. The cluster brings together the entire ecosystem to drive innovation and growth in the industry nationwide.
With an extensive network and exhaustive amount of knowledge, Odense Robotics will contribute with a stand and a wide range of events at R-22.
At R-22 Odense Robotics will host a series of events such as their annual meeting, annual general meeting, HR network meeting and a drone network meeting. On March 23 Odense Robotics will host a conference together with CareNet “Robotter til kommuner” – and on March 24 they are in charge of “Innovation Board – Landbrug og Gartneri”.
University of Southern Denmark (SDU)
SDU has an extensive research field in cognitive and applied robotics.
At R-22, SDU will contribute with new research knowledge in robots, automation, and drones applied to all the themes of the robotics event. At the fair you can visit the SDU stand and experience the conference on March 23 “Robots as a tool” and on March 24 “Application of Human-Robot Interaction in the Robot Industry: How Industry Professionals Could Benefit from HRI Research” – both hosted together with Odense Robotics.
Norwegian Society of Electric and Automatic Control (NFEA)
NFEA is a politically independent non-profit member association with a focus on electronics and automation. The association consists of companies and teaching / research institutions.
NFEA is the Norwegian partner of R-22. At the robotics event, they will contribute with the newest knowledge in robots, automation, and drones in Norway.
Experience the NFEA conference “Autonomous Robots – Are We Ready to Release Them into our Society?” on March 24.
The Robotics Society in Finland
The Robotics Society in Finland is a professional society boosting research, training, public relations, and private businesses in the field of industrial as well as service robotics. The society’s members are all active in the field of robotics in Finland.
The Robotics Society in Finland is the Finnish partner of R-22. At the robotics event, they will contribute with the newest knowledge in robots, automation, and drones in Finland.
Experience the conference “Robotics Education in Finland” – hosted by The Robotics Society in Finland on March 24.
Tech Nordic Advocates
Tech Nordic Advocates is Northern Europe’s largest – and only pan-Nordic/Baltic (not-for-profit) tech/startup network of founders, startups, scaleups, investors, mentors, startup/scaleup hubs, incubators, accelerators, corporates, universities, and public sector organizations.
At R-22 Tech Nordic Advocates will contribute with their Nordic and Baltic network for startups and entrepreneurships.
Experience the conferences hosted by Tech Nordic Advocates – “International Startup Growth Opportunities” on March 24 and “Denmark in the Lead for Female Tech Founders/Leaders” on March 25. Furthermore, Tech Nordic Advocates will be moderating the Startup Arena on March 24.
Energy Cluster Denmark
Energy Cluster Denmark is Denmark’s cluster organization for the entire energy sector. Their vision is for Denmark to be a leading green nation in the development and demonstration of innovative and global energy solutions. Their members also include end customers.
At R-22 Energy Cluster Denmark will contribute with the newest knowledge in robots, automation, and drones for the energy sector.
Energy Cluster Denmark is hosting an Energy Conference and a network meeting for their members on March 24.
We Build Denmark
We Build Denmark is a national cluster for the building and construction sector. They connect companies, knowledge institutions, and municipalities by accelerating growth and innovation. Their members also include end customers.
At R-22 We Build Denmark will contribute with the newest in robots, automation, and drones for the building sector. Experience their Project Day “Robots: Finding Their Way to the Construction Site” – hosted together with DI-Byggeri on March 24.
DI-Byggeri
DI-Byggeri is the largest business community in the Confederation of Danish Industry, representing companies in construction, facility, and the construction industry.
Together with We Build Denmark, DI-Byggeri is hosting the Project Day “Robots: Finding Their Way to the Construction Site” on March 24. DI-Byggeri is furthermore organizing a network meeting for their members on March 24. The members of DI-Byggeri also include end customers.
DI-Digital
DI-Digital is a business community in the Confederation of Danish Industry. DI-Digital is working to ensure that Denmark will be the preferred country to operate your technology company in and from.
At R-22 DI-Digital is hosting a conference on March 23 “Political Aspects on Robot Technology in Denmark”. Furthermore, the business community will contribute with a vast knowledge in robot technology and politics.
Knowledge Center for Automation and Robot Technology
Knowledge Center for Automation and Robot Technology is funded by the Danish Ministry of Education and is a collaboration between five technical colleges. The purpose of this collaboration is to elevate the knowledge in automation and robotics at all the country’s technical colleges – to ensure that industry capabilities are met.
Knowledge Center for Automation and Robot Technology is the liaison between R-22 and the technical colleges. To learn more about the research centre and its many opportunities, meet up with them during Student Day on March 25.
Centre for Clinical Robotics (CCR)
CCR is a Danish research and innovation centre for robot technology. The centre is created as a result of the close collaboration between Odense University Hospital (OUH) and the University of Southern Denmark (SDU).
At R-22 CCR will contribute with a vast knowledge in clinical robots, development, and the newest robotics at hospitals.

Fremstillingsindustrien
Fremstillingsindustrien is a part of DI – the Confederation of Danish Industry. Fremstillingsindustrien is a professional community – a member association contributing to services and development of professional activities and network.
At R-22 Fremstillingsindustrien will represent the end customers of the production industry.
