IHK Flensburg Joins the Strong Circle of R-24 Partners

A new partner has joined the other 16 partners behind R-24. The new partner is IHK Flensburg, which will be the link between R-24 and German players within robotics, drones and automation and really put Schleswig-Holstein on the map in the international robotics community.

On 13-15 March next year, Odense’s big R-fair will return when Odense Congress Center (OCC) yet again welcomes the robotics industry to the R-24 event, which is fully dedicated to robotics, drones, and automation.

Its predecessor, R-22, set out to be the largest robotics fair in the Nordic region, and the event was a huge success. For R-24, the focus has been expanded to Europe – and here, a Danish-German collaboration is absolutely central. Therefore, OCC is excited to share that IHK Flensburg has chosen to join the circle of partners supporting the event.

– Northern Germany is an important market to include, and we are very pleased that through the partnership with IHK Flensburg we can now help strengthen the collaboration between the German market and our Danish robotics and drone companies, says Katarina Deylami, Business Development Manager at Odense Congress Center, and continues:

– With the collaboration, we expect to support to get Danish robotics- and drone technologies widespread in Germany, but also to see a lot of exciting technologies from Germany on R-24. It is an important step on the way to establishing a strong, international robotics event in Odense.

A strong collaboration awaits

At IHK Flensburg, there is also enthusiasm about what the cooperation can mean for Germany.

– The future lies in automation and robotics, and we want to be at the forefront, which is why we are supporting the fair. At R-24, we hope to meet people, organizations, and companies interested in what the German market has to offer and where we want to go as a business region, as Mette Lorentzen, Head of the Business Units for Educational Guidance and Examination Coordination as well as international cooperation at IHK Flensburg, explains. She continues:

– We are looking forward to being a partner of R-24. The fair gives us an obvious opportunity to put Schleswig-Holstein on the map in the field of robotics, drones, and automated systems. And we are very much looking forward to seeing new and exciting projects and expanding our competences and our network.

Among other things, IHK Flensburg participates with a German delegation on R-24.
